With the\u00a0newest season of\u00a0The Voice<\/em>\u00a0underway, viewers are already loving the two new coaches who joined the cast of the singing competition show. Newbies\u00a0Snoop Dogg<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Michael Bubl\u00e9<\/strong>, who joined veteran judges\u00a0Gwen Stefani<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Reba McEntire<\/strong>\u00a0for season 26, have already become fan favorites even though it\u2019s only week 3 of the show. And what\u2019s made fans fall even more in love with Michael is his reveal about how one former\u00a0Voice<\/em>\u00a0judge was the entire reason he ended up on the show.<\/p>\n

In an\u00a0Instagram reel\u00a0filmed during pre-season and jointly shared by the 49-year-old singer and the hit NBC show, Michael revealed that country singer and former\u00a0Voice\u00a0<\/em>coach\u00a0Blake Shelto<\/strong>n<\/strong>\u00a0was the one who convinced him he should join the show.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou know I love Blake and he\u2019s a great friend, and he talked me into it. Truthfully, he talked me into it. And a big part of it was the people that they had coming,\u201d Michael says in the clip.<\/p>\n

Blake, who was one of the original four coaches when the show premiered back in 2011 and is now married to current coach Gwen,\u00a0left in May 2023 after 23 seasons\u00a0on the show (making him the longest-lasting original coach in the series). Naturally, hearing that the Oklahoma native was the main push behind Michael joining as a judge had fans ecstatic on social media, and many expressed that they were glad for the encouragement.<\/p>\n

\u201cOverjoyed that you joined the Voice!! \u2764\ufe0f,\u201d one fan wrote under the clip. \u201cUncle @snoopdogg & Pop @michaelbuble are two of the most sincere souls I\u2019ve met during this process! Love our coaches \ud83e\udd18\ud83c\udffe\u2728,\u201d another said. \u201cLove that Michael is on the show this season \ud83e\udd17\ud83e\udd17,\u201d someone else chimed in. A different person commented, \u201cBest [group of judges by] adding @snoopdogg and @michaelbuble! So entertaining and just love this addition to the show!\u201d<\/p>\n
