Taylor Sheridan\u00a0has done it again! On the heels of the successful\u00a0Yellowstone<\/em>\u00a0finale, the writer, director and producer\u2019s newest show,\u00a0Landman<\/em>, has shattered all previous records to become the biggest new show in the history of Paramount Global\u2019s streaming service, Paramount+.<\/p>\n

According to a press release,\u00a0Landman<\/em>\u00a0officially reached 14.9 million households through the first four weeks of its debut season, making it the most-watched original show in Paramount+ history.<\/p>\n

Sheridan and his producing partners, MTV Entertainment Studios and 101 Studios, now produce all five of the Top 5 original shows on Paramount+, including:<\/p>\n

  2. 1923<\/em><\/li>\n
  3. Tulsa King<\/em><\/li>\n
  4. Lioness<\/em><\/li>\n
  5. 1883<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Landman<\/em>\u00a0stars Billy Bob Thornton as Tommy Norris, who works in the old fields of West Texas as a landman for a major oil company, securing the rights and managing the people involved in their various drilling projects. That job often involves having to skirt legal and ethical issues in order to get things done, which creates most of the show\u2019s drama and tension.<\/p>\n

    Former\u00a0Mad Men<\/em>\u00a0star Jon Hamm, Demi Moore, former\u00a0Heroes<\/em>\u00a0star Ali Larter and more are also part of the cast of\u00a0Landman<\/em>, which airs on Paramount+ on Sundays.<\/p>\n
