With the show\u2019s return right around the corner, Michelle Randolph teases the \u201creally great<\/em>\u201d story to come from\u00a01923<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0season 2. The travails of the Dutton family fueled the rise of creator Taylor Sheridan\u2019s\u00a0Yellowstone<\/em>, which just did away with Kevin Costner\u2019s John, leaving the series\u2019 future up in the air. Meanwhile, Sheridan\u2019s\u00a01923<\/em>\u00a0season 2\u00a0is set to fill the void left as\u00a0Yellowstone<\/em>\u00a0wraps up an eventful season 5, with the spinoff\u2019s new season premiering on Paramount+ on February 23.<\/p>\n

Randolph\u2019s Elizabeth Strafford is among the characters returning for more drama in\u00a01923<\/em>, and season 2 promises to have more great storytelling in store for fans, as the actor teased during a recent interview with\u00a0ScreenRant<\/em>\u00a0about her other Sheridan-created show\u00a0Landman<\/em>. The star also lamented that\u00a0audiences are going to be \u201cvery sad<\/em>\u201d that they won\u2019t be able to binge-watch the new season in one sitting<\/strong>:<\/p>\n

It\u2019s gonna be a really great season. Season 2 was incredible, but with two years in between, I was so excited. I just read straight through the scripts, and I think people are going to be very sad that they can\u2019t binge-watch the season, because every episode leaves you on the edge of your seat.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Randolph then addressed those theories about Elizabeth having a family connection to Costner\u2019s Dutton, cautiously denying knowing anything about the Dutton family tree<\/strong>\u00a0and her character\u2019s possible place on it. Randolph did, however, express her worry about unwittingly dropping\u00a01923<\/em>\u00a0spoilers, noting that her ties to the family tree is the \u201cNo. 1 question I get asked<\/em>\u201d and ultimately prefers to play coy. I may or may not know. You know, you\u2019ve just got to watch and find out what happens. It\u2019s so much easier to just say I don\u2019t know anything. No, I\u2019m terrified. [Chuckles] That\u2019s the No. 1 question I get asked, and I just, I know nothing.<\/p>\n
