Yellowstone<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>season 5, episode 14, \u201cLife Is A Promise,\u201d reveals Beth and Rip\u2019s fate when the pair move to a new ranch in Dillon.\u00a0Yellowstone\u2019s<\/em>\u00a0ending\u00a0wraps things up for many of the Duttons. It answers questions that had been lingering all season, such as what the fate of the Dutton ranch would be and what would happen to each member of the family after John\u2019s death. One of the top questions on the list was what would happen to fan-favorite couple Beth and Rip.<\/p>\n

Unsurprisingly, after attending the funeral wraps up the\u00a0death of\u00a0Yellowstone\u2019s\u00a0<\/em>John Dutton\u2019s story, Beth goes to Jamie\u2019s to get her final revenge on the adopted brother. Jamie attempts to choke Beth to death with his bare hands, but Rip arrives in time, helping her kill her brother. Rip and Lloyd dispose of the body while she recovers in the hospital, effectively selling the idea that Jamie escaped. Thus,\u00a0Beth and Rip will not face legal trouble beyond the events of Yellowstone\u00a0<\/strong>and are free to start the next chapter of their life on their new ranch.<\/p>\n

As Kayce prepares to sell the Yellowstone Ranch, Beth shows Rip photos of a new ranch online, not that she has already bought it until after he has seen the information. This scene shows how well the pair know each other and are in sync with each other\u2019s needs, as Rip\u2019s concerns are only about whether Beth will be happy. Instead,\u00a0Rip\u2019s main concern is that the new ranch is far from town<\/strong>, and he doesn\u2019t think Beth will enjoy being isolated.<\/p>\n
