Brandon Sklenar, who plays Spencer Dutton in the\u00a0Yellowstone\u00a0<\/em>prequel\u00a01923<\/em><\/strong>, reflects on the advice Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren gave him. Both Ford and Mirren have enjoyed long and celebrated careers over decades in the industry. After rising to global fame as the space cowboy, Han Solo, in\u00a0Star Wars<\/em>, Ford went on to star in many iconic franchises and films, including\u00a0Indiana Jones<\/em>,\u00a0Blade Runner<\/em>, and\u00a0Apocalypse Now.<\/em>\u00a0Mirren won an Oscar for her work in\u00a0The Queen<\/em>\u00a0and has also starred in four\u00a0Fast & Furious\u00a0<\/em>movies.<\/p>\n

In an interview with\u00a0People<\/em>, Sklenar talks about the guidance he received from Ford and Mirren while filming season 2. I wouldn\u2019t say that it\u2019s necessarily advice that they gave me but more of an observation, and for me, I think one of the large contributing factors to their staying power and their ability to maintain such incredible careers over such a long time is largely due in part to who they are as human beings. To see people at their level and to be able to maintain such a deep level of humility and humanity and kindness is something that I\u2019ll take with me forever because they are both just really special human beings and I think that that\u2019s reflective in their work and how they\u2019re revered by audiences and have been revered for so many years.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
