BRITAIN\u2019S Got Talent has crowned its 2024 winner after a nail-biting grand finale.<\/p>\n

Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon, Amanda Holden and Bruno Tonioli were back in business one last time with Ant and Dec on hand to lead the festivities.<\/p>\n

The Kent-born star had charmed audiences with her unique take on Over The Rainbow<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

After one last public vote, Sydnie Christmas\u00a0<\/strong>was declared the winner of Britain\u2019s Got Talent 2024, with the stage being covered in confetti as their name was read out.<\/p>\n

They take home a \u00a3250,000 prize and a slot at the esteemed Royal Variety Performance later this year.<\/p>\n

While the judges had their say on how the performances went, the choice for who would be crowned champion ultimately was left in the hands of the voting public.<\/p>\n

When Declan Donnelly asked how she felt after the win, Sydnie Christmas\u00a0<\/strong>held her head in her hands as she as she struggled to speak.<\/p>\n

\u201cOh, I don\u2019t know what to say!\u201d she finally uttered. \u201cI cannot believe the amount of love that I felt since it aired\u2026 Oh my God, I am overwhelmed with love and it\u2019s the most amazing thing.\u201d<\/p>\n

Comedian Jack Rhodes came second, and dancers Abigail and Afronitaaa came in third place.<\/p>\n

Sydnie secured the win after an all-out battle from the top 10 of this year\u2019s participants. \u2013 comprised of two magicians, one comedian, two performance troupes, a dance duo, a singer\/impersonator and a choir.<\/p>\n

Moments before Sydnie was announced as the winner, Simon hit back at \u2018fix\u2019 claims that have plagued the show, saying: \u201cWinning is important, but, you know, getting into this final and importantly, doing something great, will actually make a difference.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou know what was interesting? I worked out, I don\u2019t think a single act tonight were professionals. They all had a regular job, yeah, and they did something extraordinary.\u201d<\/p>\n

This is despite the fact\u00a0Sydnie has professional stage experience working on a cruise ship\u00a0and in a German stage production of Starlight Express, and Innocent Masuku is currently starring in Rossini\u2019s The Barber of Seville on the London Coliseum stage.<\/p>\n
