In a performance that must be seen to be believed, Lynne took to social media earlier in May to undertake a singing challenge between herself and her puppet friend, Petunia, singing the Etta James classic \u201cAt Last.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAt Last\u201d by Etta James is as iconic as they come<\/h2>\n

Released in 1960 as a single off her debut album,\u00a0At Last!<\/em>, the song made James a household name and propelled her to new heights in the music industry. Although it wasn\u2019t an immediate mainstream hit (it barely cracked the\u00a0Billboard\u00a0<\/em>Hot 100\u00a0in its day), it\u2019s become more popular over time, frequently played at weddings and performed regularly by artists like Christina Aguilera, Beyonc\u00e9, and Celine Dion.<\/p>\n

Interestingly, the Etta James version of \u201cAt Last\u201d is actually a re-arranged version of a 1941 hit of the same name. Mack Gordon and Harry Warren are credited for writing the original song for\u00a0the musical film\u00a0Sun Valley Serenade<\/em>. It was performed in the movie by Glenn Miller.<\/p>\n

Regardless of its origins, \u201cAt Last\u201d has become a timeless classic that takes vocalists to their limits due to its difficulty \u2014 especially if you\u2019re\u00a0a ventriloquist.<\/p>\n
