With a voice that could stop time and a presence that commands the stage, Sydnie Christmas ended 2024 in spectacular fashion with a powerhouse performance of “My Way” during The National Lottery New Year’s Eve Big Bash at Wembley Arena.

As 10,000 fans looked on, the Britain’s Got Talent winner stood poised and elegant under the spotlight, delivering a rendition so stirring, it earned a full standing ovation and left not a dry eye in the crowd.

This final performance of the year marked the crescendo of an extraordinary breakout for the 28-year-old singer, who made history earlier in 2024 as the first female vocalist to win Britain’s Got Talent. Since then, her soaring vocals and emotionally charged performances have taken the world by storm.

And now, after dazzling the UK, she’s setting her sights on America.

In her U.S. television debut, Christmas appeared on Good Day New York, delivering yet another jaw-dropping performance of “My Way”—this time with only a mic and raw talent.

Dressed in classic white, her voice, rich with old-soul warmth and theatrical command, wrapped itself around the Sinatra classic and brought studio hosts and viewers across the country to their feet.

“Frank Sinatra would be going crazy right now,” one host declared in awe. And the sentiment echoed across social media, where fans were quick to call the performance “life-changing,” “goosebump-inducing,” and “the best version of ‘My Way’ since the original.”

During her Good Day interview, Christmas reflected on her astonishing journey. “It’s been absolutely life-changing,” she shared. “I could have never imagined this would happen to me. I was just a girl who loved musical theater. I was working front-of-house at a gym, retraining as a personal trainer and then I took a chance on Britain’s Got Talent… and now, here I am.”

And she’s just getting started. After two sold-out shows at Sony Hall in New York this past fall, she revealed she’ll be returning to the U.S. in November for more dates though official details remain under wraps. Her debut album, My Journey, is a celebration of her musical path so far, featuring fan-favorites like “Over the Rainbow,” “Tomorrow,” and of course, her career-defining rendition of “My Way.”

“I’m quite an old soul,” she said with a smile. “This album includes all the songs that inspired me when I was young—songs that made me want to do what I’m doing today.”
