Asher won Season 25 of The Voice after defeating his competitors Bryan Olesen, Karen Waldrup, Josh Sanders, and Nathan Chester. To commemorate the special moment, he released his latest single, Thank You, in November 2024, and dedicated it to his coach, Reba.

On November 30, 2024, Asher took to Instagram to write a heartfelt message to her. In the post, he referred to himself as one of Reba’s sons. The Voice Season 25 champion thanked “Mama Reba” for helping him get through the difficult period of his life.

“You reminded me of the incredible gift that God has given me and encouraged me to ‘STAY WOKE.’ Working with you week after week opened my eyes to a world I had never imagined,” he wrote.

Asher credited the country artist for encouraging and advising him throughout his time on the competitive reality show. From asking him to eat watermelon to sharing expertise on commanding the stage, Reba’s guidance was “invaluable” to Asher. He added that Reba helped him recognize the nature of show business and how one should approach it.

Consequently, Asher noted it was only fair to dedicate the song to his coach who made his dreams come true and helped him find his footing in the music industry.

“As a token of my appreciation, I dedicate this song to you. You are truly my angel on earth, and I love you so much!” he wrote.

In an exclusive interview with Extra, which was shared on YouTube on December 3, 2024, Reba shared her reaction to Asher’s dedication. She confessed that she cried after listening to the track and complimented his mentee for being a “special person inside and out.”

“I’m so proud of him and that song meant the world to me,” she added.
