We sat down with the âAustinâ singer and asked him if heâs missing the show yet.
With a slight giggle, he admitted itâs too soon.
âNot yet. Iâm sure I will someday,â he says. âItâs only been like a year-and-a-half or so for me, I need more of a break.â
âI did that for 12 years, two seasons a year,â Shelton says. The reality singing competition with the big red chairs premiered in the spring of 2011.
âYou know, I miss the people. I mean the crew, the producers, the band there,â he admits. âTheyâve become family. But the job itself ⊠I donât miss that yet.â
